Paranoid thoughts, Paper Made Bakery, and Problems

I think I really need to get some sleep because I just had a horrible thought! Do you ever fear that one day you will post something and no one will comment?

Blog month 7: PARANOIA sets in.

Let's make a pact that if that happens to you, or me, we will email each other quick and comment for one another so it's not as lonely. Maybe start Rapid Response Team like they do in hospitals where a bunch of people are on alert and will comment on your/my sad and dying post. LOL!

I got on a new design team for Paper Made Bakery-A kit club that chooses ingredients for you to cook up good stuff with! (clever eh?) I think the concept of kits are cool. I wanted to see what I could come up with if given a select group of cool supplies that I might not gravitate toward, you know, get out of a rut of always going for the same types of paper, stamps etc. A way to push your creative comfort zone if you will.

I will be posting every Sunday...so get out your coffees or teas and your m&m's, and plan on a visit here.

Lastly,  my floors are now damaged from my broken fridge and they are going to need replaced. I just had them finished a year ago when we moved in! My new fridge doesn't come for another 2 weeks. I can't seem to catch a break. I think tomorrow will be a day of prayer for me. Only God can make this better!

Guess I will go to sleep now.

Good night.

Wida

  1. Let's start with the good stuff first! Congrats on the new DT gig! Creating from a kit does challenge you to use supplies you never thought to combine...really good.

Bummer about the floors and fridge. Kinda means no cooking and no cleaning for 2 weeks...may be a good thing??!!!

When I first started blogging, I did worry about having no comments. Returning comments regularly resolved that issue...you make friends along the way...thank goodness....they still leave comments on my lamest posts...lol

  2. Wida, you will NEVER have a post that gets zero comments! That's what our bloggy friends are for! :-) Sometimes you'll get less than others, but never NONE.

Sad news about your fridge and floors! I bet you'll be celebrating when the new fridge arrives!

Congratulations on the new DT role! I can't wait to see what you do with those kits.

As for me, not only there are hardly ever any comments, I am not sure if anyone even reads some of them! I still post though....pretending there is an audience out there :D
I will be looking forward to Sundays.

  8. Hee hee! I laughed out loud literally {is that loll!?!} when I read your first little paragraph! I just posted a card I made for my brother's girlfriend this week, it is one of my favorite cards that I've made so far! It remains with no comments, and I pinned it to my crafty stuff pinterest board and it only got two likes! LOL Different strokes for different folks ;o)

Congrats on the DT!! So fun! And so sorry about the fridge and the floors - that's the frustrating part of home ownership!

  9. Sorry about the floors and fridge. I understand the concern about no posts, although I don't think it will happen. Remember you only have to please God, and He created your creativity and He loves you!! 'nuf said.

As for the no comments thingy - don't stress it! I'd always look at how many people have visited your blog as opposed to comments - you'd be surprised ;D
